TORNADO OVER BENGHAZI

Like lightning over
The Libyan desert
They strike
Cutting down
The defenses
Sent on a mission
To destroy
They are alert
For any enemy
And leave them
Defenseless
Tornadoes
From the RAF
Flown by pilots
Well trained
Who called them
To act
Who demands
Their sacrifice
The oil does
The oil does
Every addicted country
To Oil, the black mistress

For the almighty, dollar

When men are sent in
To fight, to covertly operate
Is it any kind of victory
Is it really easier to kill and be killed
Than to cooperate
Is it better by far, to take a life
Than to try to understand
How many will die
To sate the hunger
Of the almighty, dollar
How many will fall
Upon the altar
Of greed?

Nightmare over Libya

The predators hunt at night
When the light is dim
But silhouettes
The convoys on patrol
The predators are in control
Smashing down and destroying
The armored columns
And soldiers
The predators hunt at night
In a world where oil
And power
Make right
The predators still fly
Wherever needed
They'll feast upon
Fetid remains
And then sleep
But
They will hunt
And start the process
New again
Whenever the opportunity
Calls
