Lingers in the echoes

Humanity awaits final judgment
For the sins of the past
And the dreams that never were
Undelivered redemption has passed
And there is nothing that can save us
From the nightmares we preferred
Over righteousness
Over hope
Over faith
The ovens burned with humanity
