Colonials, Tories and Lobsterbacks

As rains were able, it made our march difficult
Our bodies were exhausted, cold and tired
Our future beckoning, we'd sought freedom
We'd forever want until we found a miracle
Every volley fired every melee or lost shire
All innocence lost but a country will come
Our bones broken, we'd bleed patriot blood
As our sacrifice will allow our new country
For now and for a future nation, is done
Whether we taste of that wine, or not?
The seeds planted will birth freedom

“Humanity has won its battle.
Liberty now has a country.”
