We are told, often
How the big bad knight
Shouldn't hurt that innocent beast
But that is a modern point of view
There are situations that can't be resolved by talking
And if there must be a fight
Advantage is upon the side of mighty, not the least
The final victory of the knight is proof
That good can overcome evil
Some may disagree that the knight is good
But that twists the original tales
To fit the modern narrative
And that is opportunistic
And false
