Found that there was nothing new
I quickly moved to scan the next galaxy
And never realized my journey
This quest could never be called done
Despite my heart and dreams being true
I watched as my home planet earth reached apogee

A paradox
My interest and effort should guarantee a result
But the solar system is lifeless but for earth
And the stars have proven greedy
With no desire to allow
