Choosers of the slain astride their mounts, over horizons
Riders upon a flow of winds while bouyed by constancy
Called to act by the whim of Odin, Valkyries serve him
Father god, master of words, giver of purpose, wise one
His will imparts honor and mind gives reason, ascension
On a field of battle they choose the honored of the slain
Carrying them to Asgard, for the celebrating in Valhalla
Having reason and purpose, joyously serving the Father
