"It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience." Julius Caesar
I walked like so many
Upon the roads and paths
Of our builders
For so many years
I survived to return home
But no human escapes
All face old age's wrath
I fought across the stretch
Of the width of the Empire
And I survived the final cost
Mustered out
Returning to see my parents
I know not if they are well
But if they have passed
My life will have been wasted
And I will never overcome
This loss
