I thought I'd arrived in Heaven
Where no one would feel sorrow
The times you gave to me were more
Than anything I'd ever been given
You were such an enormous blessing
After a life time had left me hollow
You changed me to the very core
Able to be loved, willing to be forgiven
Whatever the future promises to hold
I now believe
No longer suffering in the cold
I rise, I refuse to fall, like a weed
