He guided his ships through ice straits
He led men in combat without fear
He listened to Odin’s voice
And never failed
His words we obeyed
His example we hoped to be
And now his remains sail
Under fire, his body will return
To the world while his spirit
Will rise, in ash
To become one with Asgard
Being the air to breathe
To blow the sails and push the Drekar
Across the seas
He was our chieftain
He was our father
Born to the water
Axe in hand
Shield lifted high
We scream his praise
We cry only for our own loss
He will live again
In Valhalla
